Libra is a real treat for the skin. This yarn is based on Cheeky Merino Joy by Rosy Green Wool. This fine, versatile sport-weight yarn is perfect for lighter, exceptionally soft knits. With a crisp stitch definition, elegant texture, and silky-smooth feel, it offers comfort without sacrificing warmth. It feels like a gentle caress - ideal even for sensitive skin. Perfect for tops, sweaters, shawls, lightweight hats, gloves, or baby clothes.

Production:
To achieve its pleasant lightness and fine texture, extra-fine 19.5-micron merino wool from Patagonia is used, sourced from certified organic livestock farming. This skin-friendly wool is produced without mulesing, chemical baths, or long-distance animal transport.

Cheeky Merino Joy is spun so that the yarn glides smoothly, doesn’t split, and barely pills. The gentle dyeing process ensures the yarn remains elastic and soft, ideal for fine stitch patterns. The yarn is produced in small European spinning mills using traditional machinery and a great deal of handwork.

Thanks to a manual treatment process, it is machine washable without using chlorine.

General

Despite thoroughly rinsing, the wool may bleed a little during the first wash. This is normal and doesn't affect the color quality.
We try to display the colors as accurately as possible, but the color representation may vary from monitor to monitor.

As the color of the skeins is not exactly the same, even within the same batch, we recommend knitting two balls of the same color alternately every two rows to ensure an even knitting pattern.

Care instructions

We recommend hand washing the finished knitted piece, wringing it gently in a towel and letting it dry flat.

Products made of wool only need to be washed when they are dirty, as wool is antibacterial and odor-inhibiting. So it is enough to air the knitted piece for a few hours.

Please remember to buy enough yarn for your project!
We dye in very small batches of 5-10 skeins.
Re-dyed skeins (especially plain colors) will always look different and often cannot be integrated by alternating rows.
So even beyond the cancellation period, we will still exchange skeins for a voucher for the shop.
