This yarn is a mix of the British Bluefaced Leicester and Masham sheep breeds. The Masham content gives the yarn a gray-brown basic tone. The yarn itself is robust but not scratchy. It particularly shines when it comes to knitted pieces with complicated patterns and cables.

DK version is best used to knit sweaters. If you can tolerate the yarn well on your neck, you can use it to create beautiful shawls.
